Showing Steve how to connect a DVD player wasn't something she ever would have imagined, but it was a sweet memory nonetheless. He tried so hard to follow what she was doing, to understand it while committing it to memory, and she was again struck with how strange all of this must be for him. There were little everyday things that were completely different from what he'd always known, things that she took for granted and never stopped to think about, but that he had to weather constantly. It made her so much more appreciative of his strength of character and intellect, both of which continued to surprise her in the best ways.

With a mug of coffee cradled in her hands, she leaned in against him, savoring the warm of him. It was comforting more than oppressive, and she felt so very calm and... at peace beside him. And she was so excited to share this with him. Seeing the iconic Disney castle animation on the screen, she couldn't help but glance over him. She wished she could watch him for the entire movie, drink in his reactions, but she didn't want to ruin the experience for him.
