Her eyes closed at his hand on her forehead, his touch feeling almost cool since her skin was so much warmer than his. But more than that, it was comforting in the way that few other things were at that moment.
Shaking her head, she burrowed further into the pillow. "I'm gonna try and sleep some more," she murmured. "Wake me when there's soup?" The heat of the soup would make it easier to eat, and then she might be able to get down some of the pudding too. But for now, her main priority was getting through the pain in her throat long enough to fall asleep again.
