Steve laughed, delighted at her teasing. For now, he buried all serious thoughts, about Fury, wanting to move in together and how to bring it up, and just basked in what they had now.

"Darling," he drawled, "as tempting an offer as that is," he gave her a pointed look, "if I did that, I don't think I'd ever be able to wear it in public again. It's bad enough knowing just what people are seeing when my back's turned toward them.

"Tell you what," he compromised. "I'll put it on early Thanksgiving day, and you can get an eyeful as I head out the door."
