It was turning into one whirlwind of a night, with so many unexpected situations arising that had sent her head spinning. With this, at least, she had something to focus on: taking care of Steve and Bucky. She set about doing so by hooking an arm around Steve and urging him to stand, giving him support and direction without making him seem like an invalid.
She didn't say anything to either of the men, because she simply couldn't think of what else there might be to say. This was an ending in their lives, not her own, and she was just there to be with them for it. She would follow their lead in all things.
