Steve felt that tug, but had no idea what it was, and couldn't have pulled away even if he'd wanted to. He blinked and suddenly Rogue was three feet away from him, there was blood on the linoleum, and his brain was just as sluggish as when he'd first woken up. After a frozen second, he lost his balance and went from crouching on his heels to falling back and landing on his ass.

Blinking in bewilderment, Steve got his bearings, and the first thing out of his mouth was, "You're bleeding. Let me see. Please." But he didn't move, still a little stunned by what had just happened. Still trying to figure out what exactly had happened.
